Thank you for using Barista Coffee Recipes (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what data we ( ShopiExpert, “we”, “us” ) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. This policy is designed to comply with Google Play requirements and applicable privacy laws including GDPR and KVKK.

Summary: By default, the App does not require you to create an account and does not collect personally identifiable information. If you enable optional features like analytics or ads (see below), limited device and usage data may be processed under those providers’ terms.

1) What We Collect

Personal data Not collected by default. No name, email, phone, or address is required.
App content Your favorites or local settings may be stored on your device only. We do not see or transmit this data.
Device/Log data If analytics is enabled, we may collect anonymous events (screens, crashes, session duration). See “Third-party Services”.
Location Not collected.
Payments No in-app purchases at this time. If added later, payments are processed by the respective store (Google Play) and not stored by us.

2) How We Use Data

  • Provide core App functionality (display coffee recipes, save favorites locally).
  • Improve stability and UX based on aggregated, anonymous analytics (if enabled).
  • Comply with legal obligations and Google Play policies.

3) Third-party Services (Optional)

We may integrate the following services. If enabled in a future version, they may receive limited data as per their policies:

  • Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase – usage statistics & crash reports. Privacy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
  • AdMob (if ads are introduced) – advertising identifiers & basic device info to show relevant ads. Privacy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
  • Crashlytics – crash diagnostics without personal identifiers. Privacy: same Firebase policy above.

You can opt out of Ads Personalization on Android via Settings → Google → Ads.

4) Data Retention

Local data (favorites, settings) remains on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall the App. Aggregated analytics (if enabled) is retained by the provider per their policies.

5) Security

We follow industry-standard measures suitable for an application that does not process sensitive personal data. Still, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6) Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7) International Transfers

Third-party providers (e.g., Firebase) may process data on servers located outside your country, subject to appropriate safeguards described in their policies.

8) Your Rights

Depending on your region (e.g., EU GDPR, Türkiye KVKK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing. Since we don’t keep personal identifiers by default, requests usually relate to third-party analytics/ads (if used). Contact us for help.

9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect App changes or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will be revised. Continued use means you accept the updated Policy.
